Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope you guys all had a wonderful day and continue to have a wonderful weekend!!! I spent the day at my dad's house, it was so nice to see him...I haven't seen him since last Christmas I believe. So it's been a long time coming :-) My sister Lacy was there as well to enjoy the festivities. I called my dad last night and told him, "Oh By The Way...I have blue hair...and I regauged my ears" I was very happy with his response "Ah, well I always knew you were weird, and you only live once!" I love my dad!
The beautiful roses that my dad bought for his fiance Lisa.
She always sets the prettiest Christmas tree with antique ornaments! The loverly Lisa with her brown sugar sweet potatoes (I did not partake of them)Honey Do List for the Day?Oh yeah, and Lacy has pink hair and gauged ears, and septum piercing...but dad still didn't seem to mind.I think it all looks good on her
With the news of his girls having hair of familiar primary colors...dad surprised us by following suit!
They are such amazing people, and are one of the best couples I've ever seen!
What a bunch of goofballs!Hmmm....sisters? I think so
Me and my very handsome husband!
I really wish this picture wasn't blurry, it's one of my favorites.
The apples didn't fall too far from the tree I suppose
Hmm....perhaps the apple didn't even leave the tree
What a feast
BRAVO! (It was absolutely delicious!)
I love them so muchWhat holiday is complete without their crotch grab picture?

Look What Came Today!

Today I got some packages of the first Christmas presents of the year that I've ordered. These were finished so quickly! I ordered them last Wednesday and I already have them! These are custom collars for Jackson, Alex, and Chance. (New puppy will of course be getting one too once he gets a name and a color...though I'm thinking antique blue?!)
Alex's collar is 1", Jackson's collar is 1.5", and Chance's collar is 2". Puppy's will be 1" too.

A New Gaskins?!

Today I went with the Gaskins to meet their potential (oh who am I kidding...of course they are going to adopt him) new family member. His name is currently Buck, and is called puppy by his foster mom usually. He's a 9 week old Lab/GSD mix with a cute gimpy tail. He fell in love with the family almost as fast as they fell in love with him. Hopefully the whole adoption process will be done by the end of November!
Chance waiting to meet his new little brother.Joe tucked him right under his arm so he wouldn't be afraid. He loved Joe right away!I think Joe has himself a dog!
Safe with daddy!Playing with toys already...so comfortable and at easeMomma's turn to hold the baby (Sorry Judy, it was too cute NOT to post it. I cut out most of the hair. LOL)Chance and Buck getting treatsSuch a handsome boy!

I wish I had gotten some good pictures of Buck and Chance meeting eachother and playing. But unfortunately only having 2 hands...trying to keep an eye on them to make sure they were doing ok, holding a leash, and sitting in a van wasn't the best conditions for picture taking. Hopefully the day Buck comes home is a day that I'll be available, and you better believe I'll get pictures then! Just like I did the day Chance came home for the first time.
