Tattoo Session #2

I don't think this needs a ton of into.  I had my second session for my tattoo tonight...didn't get alot done because my artist is sick, but that's ok.
She got her neck tattooed before starting mine.
I love the pictures of Stephanie and Jacob together.
 She's such a champ
This is my station all set up
 My rainbow of color!
 Stephanie wiping my chair down
 Tattoo munchies of champions
Stephanie's fresh rose!  It looks fantastic
This it what my tattoo looked like fully healed before any shading.
 And let it begin
The skin may be raised, but it didn't hurt at all
 Seriously...It didn't hurt.
The color so far....take this image with a grain of salt...it will be alot more green and yellow.

A Job Interview

I took this photo this morning on my way to work....I knew it was going to be a good day after that.

I had a great day at work...immediately went home and got ready...and headed to Casa Grande for a job interview at a vets office.
You can see the colors in my hair really coming out....and you can also see where my tooth went through my lip the other day.
I'm happy though, because the interview went well.  There's alot more interviews to go, but it was a good feeling.  The hiring coordinator seemed to really like me.  Wish me luck!  For the rest of the week I will be living at my work, so I wont be going out after 7pm.  But, that's alright...made $80 to do so.

Another Fun Filled Day

Today I had another wonderful day....well it didn't end great...but I'll explain that at the end.  My day started with me heading to the Mesa Convention Center and going to the Arizona Tattoo Expo.  I am not posting any photos from it...mostly because the photos I took were primarily of a suspension demonstration and those can be a tad graphic for some people.  Anywho, the expo was great.  Saw a couple friends there, and chatted it up with people.  My tattoo outline was a hit...so that made me feel great.

Then I met my friend Michelle at the ASU Gammage Theater to watch one of my favorite comedians: Demetri Martin.  He's the type of comedian that draws pictures and plays instruments...just keeps you entertained.  He was hilarious.  The only 2 photos I got were from outside...they were very very strict on the no cameras or phones thing.  Too bad, I really wish I had gotten a picture of him!

Then Michelle and I went to the Chilis across the street and enjoyed quite the hardy meal.  It was delicious!
This is my paparazzi picture of Michelle!
 Best friends forever!

After Michelle and I parted ways I went to Dos Gringos by my house and paid the $5 cover so that I could watch the UFC fight.  I was drinking my diet coke and watching the fight from my little table, when a drunk guy that was shadow boxing with his buddies elbowed me right in the mouth...my tooth went through my lip.  That made me call it a night...I just got home, took and Ibuprofen, and now I'm icing my lip.  Time for bed...work in the morning!

Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses

Without being a video gamer, you can't fully appreciate what I went to tonight.  I went to the Orpheum theater and enjoyed watching and listening to the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses show.  2 nights only, $150 per person...but it was totally worth it.  I got super dolled up and headed to the show!

 I had fantastic seats!
Can you tell how excited I was?!
This is probably one of my favorite photos of myself to this day
Will and I had an amazing time at the show...he's a gaming nerd like me...so I knew he'd appreciate it.  Overall I have to say that it was awesome...and I had such a blast.  Now it's time for me to go to sleep so that I'm ready for my full day tomorrow!  Tomorrow I will be attending the Arizona Tattoo Expo, the Demetri Martin comedy show, dinner with a close friend, and more sleep!

New Hair Part 2

Alright, the culmination of the hair!  Stacy came back over and finished my hair today.  She used a technique called Color Blocking.  I'm not quite sure what that is...but I know that she used 4 different colors on my head.  Tonight it looks almost the same as it did before I dyed it...however...she says that it will fade to how it's supposed to look with time and showers.
First she cut off a ton of my hair....seriously that pile was dense!

Then she began to add the color...a process that took what seemed like ages!

 I totally rock this look!
I'm excited to see how different the look will eventually be
Here's the result for the night so far....I know the lighting isn't the best...but you get the idea!

Yay for new hair!  I like it so far!

So excited for the Zelda Symphony tomorrow night!  Keep an eye out folks...Carissa will be in a dress!

New Hair Part 1

I will be going to a big symphony on Friday night, so I wanted to look amazing for it!  My friend Stacy came over and I gave her permission to use her artistic license and do whatever she wanted.  Today she bleached my hair....I know that tomorrow when she does the color she wants that it'll look completely different...but for now I'm kinda digging this ginger-ish look!

And yes, I have my headphones through my eyelets.

Friday the 13th!

Today Robert did his usual Friday the 13th piercing deal. And of course I took advantage and had some new shiny added to my left ear. It's a new piercing....we've never seen it anywhere before...and I love it. I took pictures of both of my ears, just because I think they are starting to look so pretty now.

The teal stone in the new one. It doesn't have a name yet, because there isn't another one that we know of.
