Derek and I discovered months ago (when I had fake nails temporarily) that Jackson has a spot on his face that if you stroke it JUST right, he makes the silliest faces ever! Well...we have successfully found the secret of the spot and recorded it for your viewing enjoyment!

Wood Goodness

Well, I've posted a couple times about the wooden plugs I've gotten from Omerica Organics. Well, I thought I'd show a picture of my current collection to date, and also a special little surprise for someone!
The necklace is my Christmas and birthday present for my sister, Lacy. I ordered it before they stopped custom orders. :-) She's going to love it...Raven's are her favorite animal in the whole world.

BEANS

Beans is the name of the kitten we are currently keeping as a house guest for a friend of mine. She's a little brat, but she'll be with us for a couple of weeks. Till she finds a new home!Fortunately they all seem to get along great! Even Alex likes her.

Miss Dixie Cup!

So a couple weeks ago I posted about my new clients, which included the bloodhounds Dixie and Lulah. Well I think I may post again about Dixie soon because....Dixie's Pregnant! Very pregnant I might add, and I took care of them this weekend. I can't wait for little Bloodhound babies to come along!
MOOOOOO!I love the Dixie girlLulah was rearranging the room and nesting in the whelping box.She's having a false pregnancy unfortunately.

But Dixie's is real and she should be due in about 3 weeks! Keep your eyes peeled for Bloodhound Babies!!!

Ugh, Too Many Doctors

Yesterday (after my hike, thank goodness!) I went to the dermatologist to have my foot looked at (long term pre-existing foot issue). They ended up doing a biopsy right on the ball of my foot. So now I'm walking all funny because I have itchy stitches in my foot. I have a follow up scheduled for next Friday!

This morning I have an appointment with the ID (Infectious Disease) specialist, to see if we can finally get my MRSA under control or even cured! ::crosses fingers:: Here's hoping.

And next Wednesday, Derek and I have an appointment with a wellness doctor to see about a weight loss plan for the both of us. We are going to discuss HCG and other methods that may help us out.

Hopefully that will be all the doctors appointments I'll need for a while.

First Hike of the Season

Today Jackson and I enjoyed our first hike of the season! It was absolutely beautiful today!

After we went hiking we stopped at Starbucks. I read a book on the porch of the Starbucks with Jackson laying next to me on his Park It Mat. He was wearing his doggles, pack, and booties. So he got SO much attention. That particular Starbucks was very busy today, so all kinds of people took his picture, stopped by to pet him, and comment to me how well behaved and cute he was.

Well, I'm off to my dermatologist appointment.
