Still Sick

Well, I'm still sick. My sinus infection has progressed, and has also lent itself to my lungs causing a respiratory infection. No fun.

Derek and I have finally begun talking about some wedding stuff lately. I'm not going to lie, It's been really nice.

Yesterday he picked me up from Petsmart and we talked to the lady that does the dog adoptions. We put our names on a call list if they get a female german shepherd/rottweiler mix puppy. So I'm pretty excited about that too.

That is all for now, we are going to spend some time together and watch 40 Year Old Virgin.

Happy Birthday

Well, today is my 21st birthday. I am fairly lame though. I managed to go to a convenience store and buy a $5 scratcher ticket. I won $1o, so that was nice. Yesterday I was informed that Petsmart would like to hire me. Horray. So now I have 2 jobs, which is good because the daycare is starting to cut back on hours it seems.

It's times like these that I do somewhat wish I had friends to spend some time with. But I am thankful for Derek, he wanted to make this day so special. He paid for my passport and got me some splatter guards for the kitchen. He knew I wanted them so bad :-) All and all it's been an ok day. I went to work at 2pm, and was off by 4pm. I guess I'm getting a really good work out on my bike though.

I'm debating about cooking dinner. I usually try to have it done by the time Derek comes home, but I don't know if he's going to want to take me to dinner. Oh well. Today I splurged on myself and bought another bra from the specialty shop. I don't know when it will arrive since it's a special order, but probably about 4 weeks.

Well I am bored from typing already and I want to draw or something. Blah, that is all.

Yeah

It's been a long time since I posted. But I've just been so busy. A couple things have happened. On Saturday I talked to my mom and mended a seriously broken fence. Then I went out to lunch with her, and Steve (her guy) willingly. Everything went well, and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.

I'm going to my dad's house this weekend, I think he wants to do a birthday thing with me and he's going to cook me whatever I want. I'm excited, I haven't seen my dad and Lisa in quite a long time, let alone at their house.

I have a meeting at work on Wednesday, so I hope that goes well. I'm bringing an edible arrangement, since it's a potluck.

I hope I get a call from Petsmart. I had an interview with them on Thursday, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I mean they have 3 weeks of solid interviews ahead of them for this one part time job.

I can't believe I'm going to be 21 on Thursday. Don't get me wrong, it's just another birthday to me, since I don't plan on drinking. But I just, I dunno, it's weird. I just thought I would have accomplished more by now. I'm happy that I have a beautiful house, awesome relationship, great cat, and working out. But I wish I had accomplished more with school, but I'm a slacker...and it's not gone the way I wanted it to.

Today I plan on cleaning quite a bit because my work doesn't need me til tomorrow. The house is looking pretty nice for once. This time I'm going to make sure to take pictures. There's so many family members that have never been here and keep asking for pictures.

Well I think that's enough blogging for right now.

I hope everyone had a Happy New Year! We didn't do anything, but that's ok. Today I worked on my dad's website some, and fixed it up. It's finally ready to be his primary one.

Tomorrow I am working and they told me to come in at noon, which is earlier than normal. So hopefully things are looking up and I finally am going to start getting decent hours.

I'm not really in that much of a blogging mood. Sorry.
