Dermal Punched Flats

I know that a couple of my blog viewers are not as "into" body modification as I am.  So for you guys, I'm sorry, this whole short entry is me talking about how awesome my boyfriend is and his newest mod.

Today Robert and I head over to Club Tattoo...his mentor Trevor was moonlighting there.  Robert "jumped" at the chance to have his flats (upper cartilage) punched at a larger size than pretty much anyone would dream of.

This was my view of the procedure being done to both ears...I also took HD video, but there was alot of obscenities thrown around (understandable) and I didn't feel it needed to be shared.

 This was the end result.  Both ears now have 00g flats (roughly 9-10mm).  I don't envy him trying to sleep for the next couple of days, but I think it looks amazing and he took it super super well.  Robert is awesome!

New Hair Again #1

Alright folks, got my hair done again...a little more dramatic this time.

 Alright, so this wasn't the desired result, but we ran out of time because I had to go bowling tonight.  So I'll be going back in 2 days to get it retoned and hopefully be BLONDE on top instead of streaky blonde and orange....though...is it weird that I kinda like it?

Conner's New Home

 Today Conner went to his new home with a friend of mine and her daughter, Mikenna.  He seemed super happy and looked like he loved it there.  They already bought him a big bed and a ton of toys to spoil him!  What a lucky dog!  See for yourself

Robert is back from Wisconsin!  Yay!  I had a blast with my friends and Pickles while he was away, but I'm glad he's back home. This morning we went to Chompies (where my friend Katherine works, though she wasn't there today).  His sandwich was a monster!!!  I just got pancakes and eggs!  Oh well, On with the rest of the day!

Paintballing....Who Knew?!

 Today Brie and I decided to hang out once she got off work.  First we went to Golden Corrall Buffet and enjoyed a delicious lunch!  Then we joy ride around for a little bit, catching up, talking about Robert and I and other girl talk.  Then we drove to one her clients houses and I helped her clean up after the horses and donkeys.  We decided to end the night with a bang and went to ladies night at Tempe Paintball.  Neither Brie not I have ever been paintballing, and didn't know what to expect.  But we had a blast and we will definitely be coming back!  I'm covered in welts and bruises, but it was so worth it!!!

Cosmos with Alex, Conner, and Skylar

 I haven't seen Alex in almost a month now.  Because she works in a dentist office now and obviously I don't work at Pete n Macs anymore.  So we met at Cosmos dogpark with Skylar and Conner (those two love eachother) to catch up and talk about life.  The dogs had a blast.  It was Conner's first time at the dog park and he went swimming and played fetch.  Just the time of his life!  I miss Alex and Brie...I need to hang out with my gal pals more often!!

Robert Flies Away and My Girl Keeps Me Company

 This morning I dropped Robert off at Sky Harbor Airport so that he could head out to Milwaukee Wisconsin.  For those of you that didn't know, Robert is from Wisconsin.  Anywho, he is going to Wisconsin for a family reunion, and also ::drumroll please:: to meet his daughter for the first time since she was 4 days old.  She's 2 1/2 now!  I'm so excited for him.  I'm going to miss him, but look who I get to hang out with while he's gone!!!

 That's right!  Pickles and I are at it again!!!  Us crazy kids are going to have such a blast!

Friday the 13th

Robert and I just got home from working at the shop for the big Friday the 13th piercing event.  I got to work in the shop as the counter girl to keep everything running smoothly.  I had a blast.  I did all of the paperwork with people, sold after care products and jewelry.  Kept people entertained and took photos.  Helped keep people calm and everything.  It was so much fun!  I made $225 for the day.  And Robert made like $1800.  I'm super proud of him, he worked his butt off!  It was good to get some income...I haven't had a job in 14 days now, besides pet sitting here and there...but it's not enough as of right now to pay my bills.  Everything works out in the end though....keep your fingers crossed for me!

Marathon Dentistry

I didn't post about Robert's first dentist appointment.  But right now I'm posting about #2 of 3.  Robert has less than stellar teeth...so I convinced him to go to the dentist for his tooth pain.  I don't think he realized how poor condition his teeth were in.  So the first visit was an in depth cleaning with x-rays and everything.  That was 4 days ago.  Today he sat in the dentist chair for 4 hours while they did fillings on his teeth.  15 Fillings to be exact!  Now his teeth look good as new!  With the exception of 6 teeth in the back...and those 6 teeth will be extracted on August 7th.  Wish him luck!!

Greetings From the Gym!

Here I am, just running on the elliptical right now.  I have a personal trainer now to help me with the rest of my fitness goals.  I have lost 40 lbs this year, and my goal is to lose 50 more lbs in total (not necessarily by the end of the year).  I'm feeling alot healthier, and I feel like I'm working hard to accomplish my goals!

Tattoo Session #3

 Today I did a tattoo "tap-out" session with Stephanie.  A tap-out session is an 8-10 hour straight tattoo day.  We were planning on finishing my tattoo in that time frame.  Unfortunately we didn't and I probably still have around 6 hours to go.  But it looks AMAZING so far!  I love it!
