Moving On Up!

Today Robert and I found out that we were approved for the house that we applied for!  It's 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car garage, huge backyard. All tile with upgraded appliances and a formal dining area.  It's a fantastic house and we already love it!  It will be Rob's first house without roommates, and our first real place together.  I can't wait to move in!  March 12th is the move in date!  Then hopefully we can get some 4-legged babies to share the space with us someday!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

I managed to take a screenshot of something Robert posted today!  Likely it will be deleted tomorrow, but I think it's so sweet and thoughtful, so I'm so glad I caught it!
In the same spirit I would also like to comment.  Today we have been married for a whole 13 days. LOL.  Robert and I are kindred spirits. I know that sounds lame, but it's true. We truly balance each other out and it's fantastic.  We have one of those relationships that our friends know us each individually and also together, and they will all say "Carissa is the only woman in the world that could put up with Rob" or "Rob is lucky to have Carissa"  But Rob and I know what they mean - in short - we are perfect for each other.  By no means are we perfect.  But we love each others quirks and imperfections.  I love his pointy nose, his skinny athletic legs, and his unfinished tattooed head.  He loves my dimples, my simple sense of humor, and my passion. Over the last year we have been through alot of ups and downs.  And I honestly feel like just about everything possible has already been thrown at us  ::knocks on wood:: I can't wait for the years ahead of us and growing old together!

I love you Robert Wilson.

Harlem Shake & New Piercings

If you haven't heard of the Harlem Shake - Where have you been.  It's just a craze that's going on for the moment, but Robert has decided to join the internet sensation in hopes that this video goes viral.  They have a pretty good shot, this video is just bananas. LOL

Today I also got 3 new piercings. All 3 are super discreet in my opinion and I like them alot.
I got my nape

scrumper

and sternal notch surface anchor

I'm my husband's little pin cushion and I love it!

Wedding Reception

Last night Robert and I celebrated our marriage with a fancy dress party.  All of our closest friends came over and played games with us.  Granted, many of them may have partaken in drink a little more than they should have...but it was still and amazingly wonderful night!

I appreciate all of you that came to celebrate. And wish more of you could have been there with us!

Surprise!

Today Rob and I made a little drive down to the Justice of the Peace and made our vows as husband and wife.  I know it's sudden and perhaps faster than many expected...or ever expected in the case of many of Rob's friends.  But we are very happy with our decision and we want to share our lives together forever.  I love this man more than I could ever express. I've loved him for almost 12 years, and we feel like fate is what brought us back together.

We were joined only by my sister, Lacy and our roommate, Kevin.  For those of you that couldn't join us whom we would have loved to share this moment with, we are sorry. And we hope that the pictures and video are enough to damper your sadness. We hope everyone can join us for the reception in a couple days.

But, yeah!  We are married!  Mr. & Mrs Wilson!
