A House Divided?

We may be getting a new roommate...she's been in a blog entry of mine before. She's one of my students. Her name is Cory and her husband just came back from Iraq. They are moving in with their puppy, Kronk on November 1st if everything goes as planned.

A Sweet End For My Pickled Girl

So bittersweet for me and I type this with tears in my eyes, both of joy and sorrow at the sudden yet ideal adoption of Pickles today. The family lives nearby and they already love her so much. I will get to see her all the time, and I hope so much that she is going to be happy. They look forward to continuing on with her training and are headfirst accepting the challenges that come with having a blind dog. I miss her already. I wish I could have kept my Pickles...she was the most wonderful girl ever. I hope you have a wonderful life Pickles, and I hope I get to be an active part of it as you grow up!

Together Again

My grandfather, Wally Widboom passed away this morning at 9:25am. I can only hope that there really is a heaven and a God that he believed so strongly in and that he is reunited with his wife whom passed last year, and his granddaughter whom also passed shortly after Christmas 2009.Hope they are in a better peaceful place.

Everything I Could Have Asked For

Tipsy went to her new home today. And I can't imagine one that would have been better for the little firecracker. I packed Tipsy and Pickles up in the car and made the 2 hour 45 minute drive to Vail, Arizona. It was in this nice little Podunk town that I met her new family in which she makes the 6th dog. And they also have a cat too. She already seems so happy, and the family was so nice! They even made a $100 donation for Pickles! Amazing, simply amazing. I can't wait to get pictures and updates from them.Best of luck on your 2nd Chance, Tipsy!

Woo Hoo For Gucci!!!

So, today, Gucci. The momma of the puppies was adopted! It was unexpected and sudden to us all, but it sounds like it's going to be an amazing home for her. I look forward to hearing from Laura (her new owner) in the coming weeks about how everything is going!

5 Days With Minnie

I've been babysitting Minnie for 5 days, and it's been pretty fun. It's been a flurry of off and on puppy guests. Minnie, Pickles, Tipsy, Kronk, Jackson, and Alex.

She's going home soon, I know her mom and brother Brinkley miss her so much!

An outing

Today I took Tipsy, Minnie, and Pickles to the Arizona Pet Resort for them to get their rabies shots. I've just been babysitting Minnie for a couple of days. After they got their shots I took all the girls to Bark Ave to pick out treats, and then took them to Petsmart, where they were rather unruly. All in all I think they enjoyed their day out!

Visitation and Change of Custody

Well, unfortunately the custody of Tipsy has changed hands. She has come back to us. Just didn't work out with the other family. I can only hope that she finds a home that is just as perfect for her as the one that adopted Chance.Speaking of Chance, while I was going out to pick up Tipsy I was invited to go visit Chance and see how he was doing and how he was fitting in. I am so glad I took my camera with me. He is such a happy puppy and I couldn't have envisioned a better home for him!I'm also excited because Chance is officially in my puppy class that starts on the 19th. It'll be so nice to have him in class!

Tipsy turned Gypsy

What a wonderful turn of a events this labor day has been. Tipsy has been adopted into a wonderful home with dogs, cats, children and gunslinger's alike. Confused? Don't be. Tipsy (renamed Gypsy) is now living with a family in Central Phoenix. The dad is a professional gunslinger that tours all over the world. She lives with the mom and two kids, Callista and Sixton. There are also 2 chihuahuas that are still warming up to her. And the cat, Elvis. They are adamant that this is only a 2 week trial to see if it's going to work for them. But at least they are trying it out. I think it'll be a good home for her. The nice thing is that they said they will be interested in driving all the way out to my area to take puppy classes. Not only is that good news, but Chance will more than likely be signing up as well. Beta should be too, and here's crossing fingers that Goose will as well. What a family reunion that would be right?Well I'm probably getting ahead of myself. Congratulations Gypsy on your new home!
