Home Depot

Today I made a little trip to Home Depot with Jackson and picked up a few things for the backyard. A reel lawn mower, and some fertilizer. I can't wait to have a nice lush green yard...the pups already love the grass so much more than the gravel. Hopefully I'll get a chance to use it soon.

Havoc

It's amazing that the medicine they are using to treat me for the MRSA is playing such havoc with my body. I've broken out in this miserable rash...and I'm terribly itchy. On the upside, the sores are GONE. They are scabbed over and don't even hurt in the slightest. That makes me so excited because I am just hoping so much that it's finally the end of this episode. Onto the next chapter!

Happy St. Patricks Day!

I'm celebrating this St. Patricks Day by working, and being my step dad's designated driver later on tonight. Sounds like a great time ::sarcasm:: On the other hand I had a blast taking this photoshoot with Jackson and Alex. Enjoy!

Test Results= Positive

That's right, I went to my 3rd follow-up appointment today with the doctor, and finally received my test results. I am positive for MRSA. I expected it, and glad to have answers and a possible treatment. They have started me on another heavy duty antibiotic to take along with the one I was already on. They said the strain I have is semi susceptible to the antibiotic they are trying, so my fingers are crossed that it helps. However, the doctor said that I have a really bad case of it seeing as I have gotten 5 separate infections (possibly more that I didn't recognize as an infection) since the beginning of the year. Therefore she is referring my case the the AZ Dept of Infectious Diseases. I hope all goes well and I get this thing out of my system!

Landscaping and Updates

I know it's been a while since I have posted...but what can I say: I've been keeping busy.

We have surely been enjoying our new puppy, Alex. As is Jackson. She is a little hellraiser and as of right now, definitely the dominant of the two. She has already gone through 2 weeks of puppy class and will have her 3rd class on Saturday. At 13 weeks she already knows how to sit on command, come on command, she maintains great eye contact, and will drop whatever she's doing when you tell her "eh-eh". She's doing phenomenal....now if only she'd be a little quicker with potty training. We've been having tons of rain lately, and I figured that it was the perfect time to finally get that backyard I've always dreamed of having (at least the one I've been dreaming about for this house) So after a couple weeks of fixing it up ourselves it is finally done (well, done with the landscaping...no frills yet). I eventually hope to have a little apple tree, a fountain in the corner for the dogs to drink from, and a little raised planter for vegetables or flowers. In the mean time though I am happy with it and so are the babies.Vigoro Red Rubber Mulch

The potty side of the yard

I went to the doctor yesterday for an infection that I have on my right side. They ended up having to numb me and drain it. Then they packed it with gauze, so I will be going back there tomorrow for them to check it and unpack it. They are testing me for MRSA, and I will know the results in 5 or 6 days. At this point I just want to know what I'm dealing with, I hate not knowing. I feel much better now though since they drained it.

Well I'm going to do some housework now and hopefully make my husband a very happy man with a clean house and dinner on the table later!
