What started as an ill attempt to find Tiger a home, ended rather successfully. I wonderful home was found for Tiger. A woman came into my store looking to possibly adopt a cat after not having one for over a year.
Today I took Tiger to the vet, and got all of her shots and check up. She was in wonderful shape, and was very social. It made me very happy.
At 5:30pm I drove with her all the way to Gold Canyon, crying the whole way. I introduced her to her new family. They loved her right away. She went and hid behind the washing machine right away, but she didn't seem overly scared, and she did well around the dog they have. I only hope I made the right decision. I love Tiger so much, and we've had her for 5 years, well, almost 5 years. She will turn 5 years old on March 15th. I am sad that I will miss it.
