Meet Alex Jones Jarvis

We may have missed out on Nutmeg, but on Valentine's Day this beautiful 9 week old girl joined our family.

Her name is Alexis Jones and we are calling her Alex. She's quite the little firecracker and has already kept us on our toes. She's a German Shepherd/Rottweiler/Chow mix just like Jackson.

They already seem to like eachother and will sleep in the same crate!

She is going to be a joy I can tell. Derek and I both love her and are so glad to have her.

Super bummed

Well it didn't work out with Nutmeg. Spoke with her sponsor this morning because we were supposed to meet her tomorrow. The foster family decided to keep her.

I'm about to cry so I think I'll take a nap.

Possible Addition?

This sweet girl may be joining our family soon.Her name is Nutmeg. She is a 10 month old Australian Kelpie. We are doing a Meet'N'Greet with her foster parents on Sunday afternoon hopefully. I hope she'll fit into the family nicely.

Hieroglyphics Trail

Yesterday morning, Derek and I along with our faithful dog, Jackson decided to hike Hieroglyphics Trail. Quite the incorrect name considering at the end of the trail there are petroglyphs, not hieroglyphics. Oh well.

Long story short it wasn't an incredible hike, and if it weren't for all the water that was there, it wouldn't have been worth it at all. At least Jackson had fun.
