Happy Halloween Folks!

I'm just at work...in costume.  But, at least I came in 3rd place for the costume contest!  I won a $5 giftcard to Frys!  After work I'll be heading over to Rachel's to watch scary movies!!!  Hope everyone has a great night!

Samurai Comics & Podcast

Tonight I hung out with my friend, Greg at a comic book shop in Mesa called Samurai Comics....this nerdy girl was in heaven...I found a t-shirt that I desperately WANT!!!

 Woot!!!  Walking Dead!!!  Rob and I have been watching it together every Sunday night!

 They had a tower/fortress of Magic the Gathering cards!!!

 Then we went to Bosa Donuts...that's not nerdy....just delicious.

Finished up the evening with a comic book podcast and Greg doing a private show about his upcoming art gallery opening in a couple days!!!

I met a bunch of really cool people, discovered an AMAZING new energy drink (well not new...but a new flavor to me)  and I talked Ireland with a guy for well over an hour.  I'm starting to feel really good about this whole Ireland thing!

I will definitely be back to Samurai Comics....for the energy drinks....A very special and specific comic book....and that shirt!!!!

Extra Life Gaming Marathon

Tonight is the night, Rob is beginning his 24 hour gaming marathon with benefits going to Phoenix Children's Hospital.  His team raised over $1000!!!  I'm super proud of him! Thank you to anyone who contributed!!!

Weight Loss Progress

So this isn't a REAL entry...but I wanted to show off the progress I've had this year!

Cha-Cha-Cha-Changes!

So....it's not set in stone yet....but a couple weeks ago I registered to be an Au Pair, and in the last couple of days I have been offered some jobs in Cork, Ireland and Kildare, Ireland.  I really think that I may take the job and I have begun researching the process to get either my Work or Student VISA.  I am really excited about it.  I don't want anyone to think that I'm "running away" from anything or whatever.  In all honesty I am using this as an opportunity.  For once in my adult life I have no mortgage, no pets, no good job, no serious relationship, or anything to hold me back.  Now is the best time I have....and I think I should take it.  I may never get an opportunity like this again.  I will keep everyone updated as I figure stuff out.


Also, the follow up on my leg revealed no tendon damage.  And it's healing quite nicely....though I will have a gnarly scar the rest of my life!

Sinister

It's official...I'm not meant to watch horror movies...I just can't handle them. Sinister was NOT scary according to my boyfriend, but I'm pretty much ill from it. Screw that movie!
